Thanks to Indiana Department of Transportation who actually own the boxes, The City of Madison who actually own the land the boxes are on; and the Office of Community & Rural Affairs who liked our idea of placemaking with the boxes!  A very special thank you to the area artists and the area sponsors who came together, along with fabricator Troy Seel to make this happen.  From East to West along Madison’ s Mainboxes-cragmont Street.  From Walnut & Main: Artist: Larry Rudolech & Farmers Bank of Milton;  Jefferson & Main: Harry Elburg & German American Bank; Mulberry & Main: Jane Vonderheide & Midwest Tube Mills, Inc.; West & Main: Janie Mahoney & Community Foundation of Madison & Jefferson County; Broadway & Main: Alann Boatright & Wallis Family Fund; Mill & Main:  Eric Phagan & visitmadison, Inc.;  Cragmont & Main: Patty Cooper Wells & Lanthier Winery.  Many thanks to wonderful artist and the generous sponsors who made this idea a reality!  MAAA public arts/spaces team worked hard on this one!  Next up:  Madison’s hilltop!   rudlect
